Biography
Darkly beautiful pop-noir.
“I watched a rough cut of the film, mesmerised, then at the end, picked up my guitar, started playing and ‘Bloom’ just happened.
It’s not the usual sort of song I normally write, so I was totally out of my comfort zone, but spontaneously crafting a song from start to finish inspired by what I’d just seen was such an exciting moment.”
3 of 9 is a new solo venture by Minki, of 50ft Woman and The Maranellos.
Bloom is the first song, especially written for the horror movie, Bloom by Travis Legge. The track was released on 09.03.2015 via download.

Not content with one video, three versions were made.
Firstly, we have the Director’s cut, by Stephen Perry who filmed the video.
Secondly, we have the Film Edit, edited by Bloom (the film)’s Director, Travis Legge, himself.
Thirdly, the Artist’s edit, which was edited last, by Minki herself. She says, “It proved a challenge, as a lot of the best and most obvious cuts had been done already!”
